Speaker Profile: Kevin Greene

Kevin Greene is very familiar with Aviation Security Regulations.

 

He was tasked for three years as an industry stakeholder, working with the EU Commission, IATA, ICAO and ECAC drafting the regulations that are in effect today.

 

He has been an Airline security manager with UPS and has been responsible for ensuring compliance with AVSEC regulations across Europe.

 

He has also worked in Asia as the head of security for both UPS and DHL Express and again has had to ensure compliance with AVSEC regulations across the region.

 

He is able to understand all the AVSEC regulations in Asia and use his experience and knowledge to make local operations fit the EU requirements. He can identify overlaps in local and EU rules that can be utilized to fit the EU models with little effort.

 

His experience in AVSEC provides him an excellent opportunity to do extensive and accurate validations for EU ACC3, RA3 and KC3.  His knowledge of the Asia market and regulatory climate lends to a smoother process for these validations. The chances of the EU or the air carriers rejecting his validations is minimized.

 

He is also able to articulate and discuss with local Asian Regulators about any changes they may wish to make to their regulations which will ensure they are more effective and facilitate industry operations smoothly.
