SCSA had held
the Executive Luncheon “Li-CAT Certification Presentation Luncheon” at “The
Salisbury” YMCA of Hong Kong on 14th October 2015. The luncheon
consisted of a Certification Presentation Ceremony and a Lithium Battery
Sharing Session.
The luncheon starts with a warm welcoming remark by
Mr. Jimmy Pang, Vice President of Supply Chain Security Association. And of course, who can forget Jimmy’s story about
the pigs? Highlight of the luncheon – Li-CAT Certification
Presentation Ceremony.
After the main dish, we have an inspiring sharing
by Mr. Jonathan Lopes (DT Logistics (Hong Kong) Limited) on the Li-CAT
certification. Thank you for your genuine support for our Li-CAT certification
and the safety of lithium battery air transport, or more, dangerous goods air
transport. With your insightful sharing, we are sure together we can help to
make the industry more competitive by having a better combination of skills,
knowledge and attitudes. We thank Mr. Maric Cheng (Alliance Knowledge
Management Limited) for his professional and informative session on the
Lithium Battery Business Opportunities and Challenges. The latest update on
the regulations from the IATA 5th Lithium Battery Workshop in
Montreal, Canada was one of the most significant information in the luncheon. Last and not least, SCSA introduction of the
up-coming event – “SCSA Air Cargo Safety Month” marked the end of the
luncheon. The Safety Month will be in November 2015. The campaign will begin
with the kick-off ceremony in early November, followed by a series of related
activities and events to raise industrial concerns on the air cargo safety. Once again, congratulations to all Certified
Companies and thank you all participants for joining us in this memorable
event. See you soon in our Safety Month events! |
