Establishment of SCSA

Supply Chain Security Association was founded by a group of professionals from supply chain management, security management and information technology management in April 2002, with the aim to address the awareness towards emerging security threats on the supply chain industry.

We believe that the joint effort of supply chain and security professionals can fight against security weaknesses in the most effective way.

Mission of SCSA YMC

Young Members Committee, SCSA is a newly established sub-committee for Supply Chain Security Association. The mission for YMC is to promote supply chain security and safety to people under 30 years old who are students or young participants in the manufacturing, trading, logistics, transport, freight forwarding, terminal, airline/liner industries and other interested parties.

Objectives

In order to raise the attention of the youngsters, SCSA YMC is introduced to provide a platform for younger generation to widen the relevant knowledge and to equip future leaders in supply chain security industry.

To encourage the participation of the YMC Executive Committee members, 100 SCS-CPDs will be recorded for the effort in the entire year. Besides, a certificate will be provided to every Executive Committee participant for appreciation.
